Wood floors look amazing, but know how to maintain them is very important. Otherwise you can have a wood floor which isn’t looking its best.

When cleaning your floors, first off remember to AVOID using regular cleaning products, which will do more harm than good for your floor. Definitely avoid using water to mop the floors, as this will cause permanent damage. Damp clothes to wipe spills, but never pour water directly on the floor.

If you vacuum the floor, make sure to avoid using a beater bar as this will damage the wood. Use the bare floor attachment which is meant to be used hardwood flooring.
