Boundary Fences and Fences for Sports

Fences can be used in many capacities in public areas, schools, colleges and commercial settings. They are often used as boundary fences, as a security measure or as a way of marking out boundaries. They might also be used for sports grounds and courts, such as basketball courts or tennis courts.

Various types of fences exist, some of which are made of timber and others which are made of metal. For boundary fences and fences for sports areas, metal fences are usually the most appropriate choice, especially mesh fences. They allow more light through and can be different colours (green is very popular) to improve their appearance and make them aesthetically pleasing as well as secure. They can also be very tall which is necessary for sports courts. If more security is needed, palisade fences might also be used as boundary fences as they are very difficult to climb and offer excellent security credentials.
